Summary: The entire thepetitionsite.com was redesigned and reengineered to be completely self-contained and require mostly client-side processing, preventing any downtime due to database or other issues. Thepetitionsite.com browse pages are generated based on a set of RSS-style XML files that are updated regularly. All of the data interactions are handled on the client side via AJAX.

Client: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, ProCurve Networking Division
Role: Global / International ProCurve.com Consultant
Summary: I managed content updates, content creation and site maintenance for all of ProCurve's non-US websites, which includes 37 European sites, as well as, to a lesser degree, 5 sites in Asia/Pacific and Mexico. Primarily, I perform the translation and content refactoring duties required when porting content written specifically for the US market over to the European markets. All content is translated (by a third party) into seven languages, which I then add to slightly modified versions of similarly structured layouts. The differences lie in pricing and regional differences in law language and dialect. For example, layouts created with English in mind often require much less space than is required for Cyrillic, which tends to be twice as long in a lot of cases.

Summary: I had just begun my work with HP when I was tapped to create this Flash asset. Requirements were that it come in under 50kb and allow for an optional partner logo. Designed using AS3 in CS4 based on previously created print assets.

Client: Lexus USA for the Cobalt Group

Summary: This work is currently featured on the Lexus USA corporate pre-owned vehicle site. Top, left and bottom navigation are includes provided by Lexus, but I developed the front end for all vehicle information displayed, including the search results, vehicle comparison and vehicle details pages. Design work provided by a designer assigned to the project.
